Oke Itase Festival Celebration 2022<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Like every year, at Il\u00e9 Awo we have the pleasure of presenting for the first time the sign of Oke Itase 2022, the world If\u00e1 divination with which the Yoruba New Year begins, celebrated early today at Il\u00e9 Ife.<\/p>\n

Thousands of people were today at the Oke Itase temple and propitiated Ope (the sacred palm tree) with Obi, in one of the most important ceremonies that takes place before taking out the sign that will govern the next twelve months. After the pilgrimage that carries If\u00e1 to the temple of Ile Ife headed by the Araba, the propitiation to If\u00e1 took place with Obi and other If\u00e1 materials, to then proceed to the world divination starting at midnight<\/p>\n

In the Oke Itase 2022 the revealed sign is Odi Ofun, If\u00e1 says that a complete fate is yet to come and advises to offer sacrifice with food and drink so that the things he is doing go well for him. If\u00e1 also advises propitiating Iyami Osooronga so that it does not destroy luck and also speaks the sign of great prosperity.<\/p>\n
